Dead Rabbit has been named the “World’s Best Bar” two year running. The two floors of the 19th century style cocktail bar offer two different vibes depending on what you’re looking for. “Downstairs is a more casual homage to some grungy institution, with sawdust on the floor, photos tacked to the ceiling, and a great beer program. Upstairs is the more upscale cocktail parlor, where you’ll find a menu written like a graphic novel and some of the city’s best mixology on display”. Not much to say about this one other than I wasn’t very impressed. The drink was good and the ambiance was cool but not worth a half hour wait. We did order the fries which were very good, and the rest of the food coming out of the kitchen looked great as well. I’m sure they did more than enough to earn their title, and I would come back sometime if I was in the area, but don’t think I’d do much more than that.
10 bars down, 40 to go.
